Girdling roots & rope

Air Spade treatment removed soil safely for the tree and reveals poorly planted Maple tree develops harmful girdling roots and damage to base of tree and root system from root ball rope neglectfully left in place. Tree is showing weakened crown (leaf, new branch development) and dieing stems and branches.
